CampusGenius is developing 3GPP standard compliant software components for 5G communication networks. By using 5G campus networks we drive the digitalisation of various verticals in the industry.
Our Genius Core is a complete 5G-SA core for private on-premise systems or as cloud-hosted Component. Developed from scratch the CampusGenius software is the cloud-native core of small and large 5G mobile communication networks.

We are looking for tech-savvy integration/field engineers who enjoy and are motivated to participate in projects to build and configure mobile networks for our customers and partners.
Founded out of the TU Dresden, CampusGenius is a young agile team with great enthusiasm for mobile communications and software. If you're familiar with 3GPP specifications, Service Based Architecture, Virtualised Network Functions, NPFCP or Time Sensitive Networks, and have experience with the implementation of network protocols and their stacks, then you are among like-minded people. Enrich our team, get involved and drive development forward.
This role requires:
- Hands-on planning, installation, integration of mobile radio networks, commissioning at the customer's site, site acceptance test and error analysis, internal cooperation with the software developers in integration and feature tests
- Providing internal and external support by identifying and solving of errors as part of incident and problem management, implementation of solutions
- Empowering our customers with on-site training and technical instructions
- Technical documentation of the implemented solutions
- High self-motivation and an independent working style with good analytical skills and a solution-oriented approach
- The ability to work in a team with other engineers and to grow together
Ideally, you have:
- Completed university degree, in the fields of information technology, informations system technology, communication engineering/electronics, automation technology or similar (bachelor's, master's or diploma), or comparable training with relevant professional experience
- A solid technical understanding of network architecture and ideally also mobile communication architecture as well as knowledge of common virtualisation technologies (eg: Docker)
- Experience with IPv4 and IPv6, IP-Routing (v4 and v6), Secured Tunneling (IPSec, OpenVPN, Wireguard)
- Expertise in build, control, integration, automation and/or orchestration tools
- A keenness to put your knowledge to practical use at the PC, in the laboratory or with the customer
- Willingness to travel, very good written and spoken German skills. English skills will be an advantage
- Willingness to quickly familiarise yourself with new topics and technologies

- Good programming skills in Go and/or C, C++
- Good knowledge of other (modern) languages such as Kotlin, python, and frameworks

Ideally you bring this with you:
- University degree, e.g. in computer science or electrical engineering or comparable training (e.g. IT specialist), ideally with professional experience
- Experience in the implementation of network services, protocols and state machines
- Knowledge and experience in the areas of wireless communication protocols, mobile radio technologies, mobile radio software, virtualisation, network protocols, databases
